Initial Setup

When you become a Creator, you’ll go through the channel setup wizard:

Channel Name

This is your public name. Can be your real name, brand name, or creator handle.
  • Max 50 characters
  • Can be changed later
  • Shows everywhere on the platform

Channel URL

Your unique URL: loafs.io/c/yourchannel
  • Lowercase letters, numbers, hyphens only
  • Choose carefully — harder to change later
  • Keep it short and memorable

Profile Picture

  • Square image (500x500 minimum)
  • PNG or JPG
  • Shows in search, comments, Lounge

Channel Banner

  • Wide image (1920x480 recommended)
  • PNG or JPG
  • Displays at top of your channel page

Bio

  • Max 500 characters
  • Tell people what you create
  • Include personality — this isn’t LinkedIn

  • Clear, high-quality image
  • Consistent with other platforms
  • Face visible (if personal brand)
  • Simple, recognizable logo (if business)

Don't

  • Blurry or pixelated images
  • Busy backgrounds
  • Text-heavy images
  • Constantly changing

Do

  • Showcase your content style
  • Include your name/brand
  • Use high-quality imagery
  • Update seasonally if relevant

Don't

  • Leave it blank/default
  • Use stretched/low-res images
  • Cram too much text
  • Make it unreadable on mobile

Bio

Do

  • Lead with what you create
  • Show personality
  • Include a hook
  • Use emojis sparingly

  • Write a novel
  • Be generic (“I make videos”)
  • Use corporate speak
  • Leave it empty

Updating Your Channel

You can change channel settings anytime:
  1. Go to Creator Studio
  2. Click Channel Settings
  3. Make changes
  4. Save
Changes take effect immediately.
Changing your channel URL will break any existing links to your channel. Do this carefully.

FAQ

Not currently. One Creator account = one channel.
You can change your name, bio, images, and even URL. Just be aware of link breakage.
Technically no, but channels without banners look incomplete. Take 10 minutes to make one.
Yes. Click “View as visitor” in Channel Settings to see the public view.
