# Referral Links

> Get your link and start sharing

## Your Unique Link

Every Affiliate gets a unique referral link. When someone signs up through your link, they're tracked as your referral — permanently.

## Getting Your Link

    From your dashboard, click **Affiliate Hub** in the sidebar.

  <Step title="Find Your Link">
    Your default referral link is displayed at the top. It looks like:

  <Step title="Copy and Share">
    Click the copy button. Share it anywhere.
  </Step>

  Your link activates 7 days after you become an Affiliate. Until then, you can see it but it won't track referrals.

## Custom Referral Codes

Don't like the default code? Create a custom one.

**Default:** `loafs.io/r/a7x9k2`

**Custom:** `loafs.io/r/yourname`

### To Create a Custom Code

1. Go to **Affiliate Hub** → **Settings**
2. Click **Custom Referral Code**
3. Enter your preferred code (letters and numbers only)
4. Save

  Use your name, brand, or something memorable. Makes it easier to share verbally.

## Campaign Links

Want to track where your referrals come from? Create campaign-specific links.

| Campaign | Link                        | Purpose                 |
| -------- | --------------------------- | ----------------------- |
| Default  | `loafs.io/r/yourname`       | General sharing         |
| YouTube  | `loafs.io/r/yourname-yt`    | Track YouTube referrals |
| Twitter  | `loafs.io/r/yourname-tw`    | Track Twitter referrals |
| Email    | `loafs.io/r/yourname-email` | Track email campaigns   |

### To Create a Campaign Link

1. Go to **Affiliate Hub** → **Campaigns**
2. Click **New Campaign**
3. Name it (e.g., "YouTube Description")
4. Get a unique tracking link

Your dashboard shows performance by campaign so you know what's working.

## Where to Share

## Email Invites

Send invitations directly from LOAFS:

    Click **Invite** tab.

  <Step title="Enter Email Addresses">
    Add up to 10 emails at a time.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Personalize (Optional)">
    Add a custom message that appears in the invite.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Send">
    They receive a branded email with your referral link.
  </Step>

  Don't spam. Only invite people who would genuinely be interested. Your reputation matters.

## Link Tracking

Your Affiliate Hub shows:

| Metric              | What It Means                        |
| ------------------- | ------------------------------------ |
| **Clicks**          | How many times your link was clicked |
| **Signups**         | How many people created accounts     |
| **Conversions**     | How many signed up for a paid tier   |
| **Conversion Rate** | Signups ÷ Clicks                     |
| **Earnings**        | Total commissions from this link     |

## How Attribution Works

When someone clicks your link:

1. A cookie is stored in their browser
2. Cookie lasts **30 days**
3. If they sign up within 30 days, you get credit
4. Attribution is permanent — they're your referral forever

  If someone clears their cookies or uses a different device, attribution may be lost. Encourage them to sign up right away.

## FAQ

    The 30-day cookie tracks them. If they return and sign up within 30 days, you still get credit.
